Mission Statement

The Piney Woods Fine Arts Association is dedicated to the promotion and awareness of performing and visual arts to enrich the lives of all the people of Houston County and the surrounding areas. 

Leadership & Membership

The organization is non-profit, and the board and officers serve without pay. Membership and board service is open to everyone regardless of race, religion, national origin, sex, age, or physical handicap.

Goals


  • Produce an annual season of performances with a variety of performing arts that are financially self-sustaining.
  • Develop performing and visual art programs that are integrated into Houston County schools.
  • Conduct annual programs with instructors in the performing and visual arts.
  • Provide a forum for performing and visual artists from the area served to perform or display their art.
